The hybrid program will include presentations on recent public health concerns, applied food safety research, applied microbiome research in manufacturing, FRI Applied Food Safety Lab update, recent developments in foodborne toxins and allergens, and basic research of bacterial foodborne pathogens. Jim Dickson of Iowa State University will present the William C. Frazier Memorial lecture and will be recognized for his contributions to food microbiology and safety. Tuesday evening’s program features a poster session, reception, and opportunities to network with colleagues.
