The formal program will include presentations on validation and verification for preventive controls, updates on recent foodborne outbreaks, preventive controls for chemical contaminants, microbiome, and more. This meeting features scientists from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and other universities as well as industry and government.
Janet Riley from Maple Leaf Foods will present the William C. Frazier Memorial lecture and will be recognized for her contributions to food microbiology and safety.
